  • Begin with simple poses: You can always start doing yoga by practicing several poses. By doing this, you start to improve your posture, flexibility, and physical fitness and begin to develop a sense of mindfulness.
  • Dress comfortably: it is advised to choose light clothes that allow you to move freely; avoid putting on tight clothes that limit your movement, as it might make you feel uncomfortable to practice some poses.
  • Practice breathing: it is an essential part of yoga. You can start by practicing slow and deep breaths. You can then gradually progress further to sync your breath with each movement.
  • Respect your body's limits: try not to compare yourself with other people when it comes to flexibility and stretching, as everyone's body is different and responds differently. Try to compete with your older self and push your body's limits. It's important to notice and focus on the body's messages. If any pose causes any kind of discomfort, try to adjust your body or leave it.
